Oakland International’s European Customer Support and Development Manager, Edith Hurst-Earl, explained: “We update customers daily on status and stock amounts held within our warehouse facilities, and it was following a stock report that Go2Grocery, due to the product’s nature and quantity, took the decision to donate all 38 cases of Madeleine cakes to the Oakland Foundation so they could be used to benefit the local community.

“We are extremely grateful to Go2Grocery for their generosity and to all our customers who continue to donate surplus food products to support the work of the Oakland Foundation.”
