BUILD RELATIONSHIPS. SOLVE PROBLEMS. JOIN OUR TEAM!  We are recruiting for a full time Customer Service Administrator to become a vital link between Oakland and our valued customers. Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, you'll ensure seamless communication and exceptional service. Working hours – 4 Days on / 4 Days Off Rotation - 0700 to 19:00 Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Liaise with clients to inform them of any non-compliance to Oakland’s procedures and end destinations.
  • Review system adjustments and ensure that investigations take place as required
  • Pass customer claims to Claims Department to be logged
  • To provide help and advice to clients, using our services, over the telephone, by email or face-to-face.
  • To investigate and solve clients’ problems and queries.
  • To create, maintain and enhance effective working relationship with peers and work colleagues, both within the department and throughout the company
  • To control and manage the E-docs software for your allocated zone of customers.

  • Actively seek training in the respective areas to enhance the flexibility of the company
People/Personal Management
  • Build working relationships with peers and work colleagues both within the department and throughout the company.

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative role (Pallet Auditor) on our Swing shift. Based within a chilled warehouse, the pallet auditor checker is responsible for assisting in the checking and verifying of picked pallets to ensure they leave the site 100% accurate to the end destination. Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring stock integrity
  • Investigating missing stocks
  • Pallet breakdowns
  • Pallet rebuilds
  • Reporting and documenting findings
  • Constructive feedback to management team about operational picking concerns

Job Purpose: Supervision of the Open Food Activities conducted on site, ensuring that it is operating in an efficient and effective manner. Ensuring the team maintains the level of service required, working towards departmental KPI’s whilst adhering to company policies and procedures. Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • To lead, motivate and supervise the performance of the Open Foods team in both quality and production activities to surpass the team KPI’s, ensuring the proper and most efficient methods/techniques/tools are being utilised.
  • Inventory management of all packaging and bulk products to ensure consistent production.
  • · To identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and service.
  • · To work with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise Open Food requirements.
  • Developing a system for organising and verifying accurate order fulfilment for distribution, palletizing and labelling based on customer requirements.
  • To Coordinate packing activities with team members and Management
  • To maintain, improve and manage a safe working environment including the timely completion of accident investigations and any actions required. Ensuring that team members are fully aware and comply with all Health and Safety standards, company and legal requirements. E.g. COSHH, HACCP, MHE compliance.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting of non-compliance instances with third parties.

We are seeking a highly motivated  person support the development of a recognized group-wide engagement programme promoting the environmental values of Oakland International. The role will be actively research, design and implement strategies to support and develop the sustainability agendas of specified Oakland business units. Key Tasks / Responsibilities
  • Net Zero Science Based Targets – support with identifying the journey plan to meeting these targets.
  • Supporting B-Corp re-accreditation – helping to ensure that the re-accreditation is achieved for Oakland International.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create and deliver a plan to embed appropriate values and practices from the B-Corp standard across the Oakland group.
  • Contribute to the creation of a compelling wider environmental strategy for the Oakland group.
  • Support tactical projects which ensure the delivery of the overall environmental strategy.
  • Produce basic tactical reports showing achievement against agreed targets for environmental behaviours, e.g. energy saving, recycling, for use by team management at site level.
  • Develop and implement a clear and consistent strategy promoting environmental values and behaviours within the various workplaces within the Oakland group.

We are recruiting within our Bardon location for someone to provide administrative support to our Transport Department, including accurately processing drivers on arrival and departure at the gatehouse, ensuring a smooth transaction of vehicles arriving and departing from site. To provide exceptional service levels towards Oakland partners. Responsibilities
  • Booking in drivers on arrival to the gatehouse.
