 To ensure the site is up to BRCGS standards at all times and tour ready. To ensure all health and safety aspects around the site are adhered to, ensuring all legal compliances on health and safety of the site are being met aswell as the employees and contractors/visitors on site.

  • To enable safe site operations.
  • Ensure site compliance is always adhered too, regarding Health and Safety and Food safety!
  • Willing to undertake further training to enhance the role.
  • Completing all daily and weekly conformance checks on time.
  • Signing out of MHE being used on a daily basis.
  • Ensuring all yard equipment is topped up and not running low on gas.
  • Ensuring materials around yard are always recorded to keep track on numbers and to report any materials running low to the manager to be topped up.
  • Completing Daily pallet counts.
  • Sweeping around bay areas and clearing away any debris.
  • Loading pallets out to collecting customers.
  • Completing any ADHOC work set by management.

  • Ability to juggle multiple contractors and tasks at once.

  • Ability to achieve deadlines and produce detailed reports.
  • Be the point of reference for anything site specific relating to facilities.
  • Always promote site safety and food culture.
  • To participate fully in the Company’s Personal Performance and Development process and to undertake training and development relevant to your job.
  • To contribute to the development of a respectful and mutually supportive working environment in accordance with our values.
  • Supporting departments by offloading or loading vehicles which are to be completed off bay.
  • Build working relationships with colleagues both within the department and throughout the company.
  • To comply with all Oakland policies and procedures, especially your own duty of take care towards your own personal health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
  • To support the company in helping to maintain the product, safety, quality, legality and integrity of our food safety culture.
  • Ensuring the MHE around the yard is running and checked daily to ensure it is working to the best conditions and any repairs or damages are reported to management when they come up.
  • Completion of daily pallet counts to ensure the business does not run out and broken pallets are collected in a timely fashion.
