The Joshua Hillstead Foundation has announced its official launch event, inviting the community to a free Family Fun Day at Wythall Park, Worcestershire on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, to promote water safety education for children and to support families affected by water-related tragedies.
This day of fun, activities, and community spirit aims not only to raise vital funds but also to spread crucial awareness about water safety, a cause at the very heart of the Foundation’s mission, which was established in memory of Joshua Hillstead.
Carl Hillstead, Joshua’s father, a supervisor at Redditch shares his heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support received:
“The encouragement and generosity from my colleagues at Oakland International, friends, and the wider community means so much to our family.
“We are truly grateful to everyone helping us carry forward Joshua’s legacy through the Foundation.”
Everyone is welcome to join in this special day and help make a positive impact for children’s safety and the families who need support most.
