- Leading and motivating a team to surpass site KPIs.

- Proven experience in managing a sizeable operation at a Middle or Senior Management level.
- A track record of understanding and managing warehouse performance against KPIs.
- Experience with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management situations.
- Fully conversant with all warehouse processes, including Goods In, Goods Out, Picking, and Packing.
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- PC literate, with the ability to use MS packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A confident leader with the character to effectively lead a team.
- Formal leadership qualifications (desirable).

- Carrying out order picking, goods in, and dispatch using the correct procedures and equipment.

- A basic level of written and verbal English, and numeracy as count accuracy is a key part of the role

- Flexibility with working hours and shifts.
- Good team player.
- Experience with warehouse picking, preferably using a scanner, is desirable.
- A Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our team. This is a hands-on role where you will manage and motivate a dedicated team to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain the high level of service our partners expect. As a Class 1 HGV Driver at Oakland International, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, ensuring our commitment to exceptional service is always met. Operating out of our Bardon depot, you'll be an integral part of our logistics network, upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.What You'll Be Doing:
- Daily vehicle checks and reporting of vehicle defects to ensure our fleet is always in top condition and fit for purpose.
- Keeping vehicles clean and maintaining temperature controls in line with delivery specifications.
- Carrying out customer deliveries and collections on time and in full.
- Maintaining strict compliance with EU Tachograph regulations and working time directives.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety policies at Oakland International and all sites you visit.
- Liaising with the Transport Office promptly to escalate any issues.
- Opportunities for nights out are available within our work patterns.
- Supporting the Warehouse team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers, fostering a respectful and mutually supportive environment.
- Actively participating in our personal performance and development process and undertaking relevant training, including Level 2 Food Hygiene.
What We're Looking For:
- You must have held your Class 1 License for a minimum of 2 years.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of food safety culture, product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.

- Average Week: 48 hours
- Schedule: Night shift, with options for Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
- Start Times: Typically 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM.
