After taking part in a non-stop charity ‘Race the Sun Challenge’ from sunrise to sunset of cycling, climbing and kayaking around the Brecon beacons in support of Action Medical Research, four friends from Redditch have managed to raise a whopping £5,090 with money still coming in.
Four delighted students from Aston Fields Middle School in Bromsgrove have received financial sponsorship from Redditch-based charity the Oakland Foundation which has enabled them to take part in a 10-week course at the Bonterre Project based at Top Barn Farm in Holt Heath throughout the summer term.
