To manage IT Infrastructure and software systems for Oakland International and to enhance the IT experience for the site, its clients, and its service partners.

Work with the Group IT Team to continuously develop and maintain IT Infrastructure.

Align the IT security policies and procedures with all aspects of IT Hardware and Software

Lead on new infrastructure projects

Advise on system improvements

Manage helpdesk ticket system ensuring timely responses to users.

Have awareness of current technology trends and innovations to identify opportunities to improve systems efficiency and establish competitive edge.

 

 

Ad Hoc Tasks

Engage stakeholders within the business, clients, and retailers to devise improvement plans.

Engage solution providers as appropriate to participate.

Manage relationships with IT partners.

 

Daily

Review site ticket status and action any outstanding

 

Weekly

Update project status

Monitor systems performance KPIs to ensure appropriate interventions are made in a timely manner.

 

To participate fully in the Company’s Personal Performance and Development process and to undertake training and development relevant to your job.

Support the team to monitor and control the use of resource in a cost-effective manner.

Encourage team members to develop and learn, ensuring the team are trained in respective areas to enhance the flexibility of the company.

The liaise with IT Team to establish budget for expenditure.

To submit comprehensive proposals for capital expenditure with costed justification

Essential

  • A Level educated preferably in IT, Business or Maths

Desirable

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent accreditation  in an IT or business  discipline
