Corporate Social Responsibility Award win for family distribution company, Oakland International, at The Logistics Awards in London on Thursday 21st September.

Held at Oakland International’s Redditch facility, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Sustainability Forum, in association with the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP), attracted a host of businesses from across the region on Thursday 21st September.

Registered Children’s charity the Oakland Foundation, which supports children, young people and their families from Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas, has raised over £8,000 at its inaugural Charity Ball, held at the National Motorcycle Museum on Friday 8th September.

Patrick Holcroft LVO OBE to celebrate receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade and Sustainable Development at a reception held on Tuesday 12th September.

After scaling mountain tops and canoeing and cycling through some of the country’s most beautiful countryside, a group of friends named ‘Team Wrong Direction’ have finally taken off their lycra after successfully completing the last leg of their triple charity challenge.

A bike race involving 34 riders from the Redditch Escargots Cycling Collective covered an amazing 2418 miles and raised in excess of £2,500 for local children’s charity the Oakland Foundation.

A children’s charity which supports children living in Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding area, the Oakland Foundation, has announced the appointment of two new trustees.

Children and young people from Redditch and Bromsgrove are set to benefit from the Oakland Foundation’s inaugural Charity Ball being held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on Friday 8th September.
