The season of goodwill has started early at Redditch based family business Oakland International as they recruit staff, effectively doubling their contract packing workforce, for the busy Christmas period ahead.

Family business Oakland International was delighted to join other finalists at this year’s prestigious Global Freight Awards (GFA) at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Thursday, 19th November for its sector leading Distressed Load Management Service.

Premium meat and dairy producer, Truly Irish Country Foods, has enlisted County Meath-based warehousing and distribution experts, Oakland International, to expand distribution for their premium Irish meat and dairy product range across Ireland and the UK.

Redditch-based charity The Oakland Foundation, whose object is to relieve the needs of disadvantaged children living in Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding area, has confirmed the appointment of Luke Attwell as a Trustee.

Valentine Foods has enlisted the skills and expertise of family food distributor and supply chain specialist Oakland International to support the national launch of their range of artisan foods. Oakland will be providing ambient storage, picking and distribution for a selection of fine food products destined for retailer shelves across the UK.
